Gasoil

A middle distillate, primarily diesel fuel and heating oil, traded against MOPS/Platts benchmarks.

Gasoil is the umbrella term for middle distillates — diesel fuel, heating oil, marine gasoil. Typical sulphur specs: 10 ppm (ULSD, EN590), 500 ppm (low-sulphur), or higher for marine.

MOPS Gasoil and Platts Cargoes Gasoil NWE are the dominant physical benchmarks.
